The Homestead (Compact)

A property with good facilities in an ideal location which was spoilt by incomplete construction. Positive: Location was good. Facilities provided were mostly good. Negative: The property had clearly been constructed very recently and the work had not been completed. The rear wall had no external cladding and, during heavy showers, allowed rain water to enter the toilet and bedroom, with water dripping down the internal wall. Carpet in the toilet became wet and, in the bedroom, we were concerned by water on the wall near an electric point (heated towel rail). The bi-fold toilet door had not been fitted properly (no internal handle and gaps around the door frame) and became increasingly difficult to close. Supply of hot water to the shower was unreliable.

Don't let this pass you by for a booking. Positive: We actually didn't want to leave. I can't find a single fault. Quiet. Outstandingly clean, beyond comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it. Everything that we could possibly need was there. The layout and facilities were cozy and inviting. Seculeded and secure. Thank you so so much. We will be making it a regular visit. Negative: There is not one thing we didn't like
